1. General Warranty Terms

  • Warranty clock starts on the original purchase date shown on your receipt.
  • Proof of purchase (your Moonlit Market order confirmation) is required.
  • Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
  • Please back up your data before sending any item to us; Moonlit Market is not responsible for data loss.
  • This warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund (at our discretion) and does not cover consequential damages.
  • Your statutory rights under local consumer-protection laws remain unaffected.

2. Category-Specific Coverage

A. Fully Refurbished iPods – 12-Month Limited Warranty

What’s covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship during normal use
  • Failures resulting from installation performed by authorised Moonlit Market technicians

What’s not covered

  • Drops, impacts, crushing, or other accidental damage
  • Exposure to liquids, moisture, or corrosion
  • Cosmetic wear that does not affect function
  • Software or hardware modifications by third parties

Warranty becomes void if

  • Tamper-evident seal or serial-number label is broken, removed, or altered
  • Device is opened or disassembled after our final seal
  • Internal components show evidence of unauthorised access or modification

B. Third-Party Replacement Parts (user-installed) – 6-Month Limited Warranty

What’s covered

  • Manufacturing defects in the part itself

What’s not covered

  • Improper installation, soldering, or modification
  • Accidental damage, impact, or bending
  • Liquid exposure, corrosion, or contamination

Warranty becomes void if

  • Part markings or serial logs are removed or altered
  • Any third-party repair attempt or tampering occurs

C. Moonlit-Manufactured Replacement Parts (user-installed) – 12-Month Limited Warranty

What’s covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Premature failure under normal, intended use

What’s not covered

  • Improper installation or modification
  • Accidental damage, impact, or bending
  • Liquid exposure, corrosion, or contamination

Warranty becomes void if

  • Part markings or serial logs are removed or altered
  • Any third-party repair attempt or tampering occurs

D. Third-Party Accessories & Miscellaneous Products – 6-Month Limited Warranty

What’s covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship

What’s not covered

  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
  • Damage from misuse, improper voltage, or liquid exposure

Warranty becomes void if

  • Product shows evidence of modification, misuse, or abuse

E. Moonlit-Branded Accessories & Miscellaneous Products – 12-Month Limited Warranty

What’s covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship

What’s not covered

  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
  • Damage from misuse, improper voltage, or liquid exposure

Warranty becomes void if

  • Product shows evidence of modification, misuse, or abuse

3. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  1. Email us with your order number, product serial/part number, and a clear description of the issue (photos or video are helpful).
  2. Receive Return Authorisation (RMA) - we’ll send an RMA number, prepaid label (if eligible), and packing instructions.
  3. Include the Return Form - print and place the completed Return Form (attached in our RMA email) inside the package. Claims without this form are not eligible.
  4. Inspection & Resolution
    ✅ Covered: we repair or replace the item at no extra cost.
    ⚠️ Not covered: we’ll send a diagnostic report and an optional paid-repair or return-to-you quote.
