Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide via Royal Mail or UPS, depending on the selected method.

How do I know the products are genuine and high-quality?

We take quality seriously. Each product undergoes rigorous testing and refurbishment to meet our high standards. We only source items from trusted suppliers and every single item is audited for defects when they come into our possession.

Can I track my order?

Yes, once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to follow your parcel online.

Do you offer gift cards?

Not at the moment.

How long will Classic Connect kits be available?

We plan to offer Classic Connect kits indefinitely and will continue to support them even after your warranty expires.


Compatibility

Is Rockbox compatible with Classic Connect?

Yes, Rockbox is compatible.

Can Classic Connect pair with my AirPods / bluetooth headphones / car?

Most headphones that support A2DP should work, but we can't guarantee compatibility with every model. See our Compatibility page for details.

Which audio codecs are supported?

Apt-X, Apt-X HD, Apt-X AD, and Apt-X LL are fully supported. Check the Classic Connect page for details.


Technical

Is USB-C data transfer faster than the 30-pin connector?

No, both offer the same speed.

Can I order the Classic Connect without the logo?

No, all kits include the printed logo.

Is there an installation video for Classic Connect?

Is soldering required for Classic Connect?

The core features (Bluetooth, USB-C charing, wireless charging and haptic feedback) are built in and solder-free. However, for USB-C data transfer, three wires need to be soldered to the mainboard. Instructions are available here: Soldering Guide.

In the soldering diagram, do I need to connect the audio output to the data pins?

You'll need a multiplexer for USB-Audio output, as explained in our guide. Connect it to D+ and D-, then wire up the audio and data.

Which multiplexer do you recommend I use with the board?

This one will work: TS3USB221A
You will need to design your own PCB for it.

Do you offer technical support with soldering and electronic design?

No, please do not email us about this.

How do I troubleshoot my Classic Connect 2?

Please check our troubleshooting guide or ask for help in our Discord community. Many issues can be fixed by re-inserting the cables. Use your fingernail to gently push the cables until they are fully.

Why won't my iPod charge via USB-C or wireless charging?

Your iPod may still be charging normally. No charging icon will be displayed when charging via USB-C or wireless charging. Please charge it for 30-40 minutes to see if the battery level goes up.
